Terms of Service

Detailer is a workspace and operations app for mobile auto detailing businesses. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to use Detailer only for lawful business purposes and to keep your account credentials secure.

You are responsible for the data you enter into the service, including customer, vehicle, booking, pricing, and business profile information. You must have the right to collect and use that data in your business.

We may suspend or limit access if use of the service creates security, abuse, fraud, payment, or legal risk. We may update the service over time, including adding, removing, or changing features.

Privacy Policy

Detailer collects the information needed to run the app: account identity, workspace details, customer records, vehicle details, addresses, bookings, service catalog entries, pricing, and related business settings you choose to store.

Authentication is provided by Clerk. Address and place lookup features use Google services. Subscription billing is handled by Polar. Infrastructure and storage are hosted on Google Cloud. Error monitoring is handled by Sentry.

Detailer also collects product analytics and diagnostics to improve the service. Those analytics are not anonymous in the app experience: they can be associated with your user account and workspace identifiers so we can understand feature usage, billing state, and product quality.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use your data for third-party ad targeting. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access to production systems is limited.

Retention & Account Deletion

You can initiate account deletion inside the iOS app. In Detailer's current single-owner model, deleting your account also deletes the Detailer workspace it owns.

When deletion is initiated, workspace access ends immediately. Future subscription renewals are canceled as part of the deletion request when possible.

Final deletion of workspace data is completed operationally within 30 days of the request, except where a shorter or longer retention period is required by law, billing, tax, security, or fraud-prevention obligations.

Records that may be retained for legal or operational reasons include billing records, tax records, and minimal audit or security logs.

Billing & Subscriptions

Detailer subscriptions are billed through Polar. Subscription terms, invoices, receipts, payment methods, and cancellation settings may be managed through the hosted billing portal when available for your account.

Free trials may convert into paid subscriptions according to the plan you selected at checkout unless you cancel before the trial ends. If a subscription is canceled, paid access may continue until the end of the current paid-through period.

If payment becomes past due, access to the app may be limited until billing is resolved. Billing processors handle your payment credentials directly; Detailer does not store full payment card details.
